Issue 4 was when everything changed at Sega Mania. Tim began to focus more on the importance of font and layout design, resulting in a much better finished product that was easier to read.
Perhaps more key, was the outsourcing of our cover art. We were incredibly fortunate to work with Duncan Gutteridge of Sonic 3 PAL box art fame.
Issue 4 also saw us introduce our first ever supplement, the Mega-CD mini guide, which was created as we were struggling for space for our Mega-CD reviews. You can read it here. Unfortunately due to some faulty packaging, many of these supplements slipped out of their envelopes were lost when shipped to customers.
